Yes, you might recognise some of our bears and soft toys as famous faces like Jellycat, Steiff, Gund, TY, Charlie Bears etc. But we are not affiliated with these companies or brands and we want you to connect with each bear for who they are, not their label. However, we understand some brands can be collectible items so we will always try to include a collectible brands name in the description for you to bear in mind when purchasing. If you have a question about a specific item, then please contact us.
Every bear goes through our gentle Teddy TLC process where they are carefully cleaned, fluffed and checked over. Some may show signs of a loved past - but that's all part of their story. They all have many more hugs to give.
Please note: Vintage bears do not go through this process.
We understand that 'adopt' or 'adoption' has a deep and personal meaning for many, so we use the words rehome or rescue - language that still reflects our ethos with warmth and care.
Yes! We love giving new life to unloved bears. But we can’t accept any bears or soft toys with electrical or battery operated functions.
If you have pre-loved teddies or soft toys looking for a new home, contact us with as much detail as possible, including photos, and we will be in touch.
Most of our pre-loved teddy bears and soft toys will be safe for children. But some of our bears and soft toys are best suited to collectors, older children or for display only due to their age or features. Head over to our safety section to read more about this.
No. Our main focus is teddy bears and soft toys - no matter the species. But we hope to expand in the future into other areas that share our values of warmth, nostalgia and sustainable play.
We completely understand that our adorable bears faces do tug at the heart strings especially when they have their Bear Bios alongside. This is why we ask our customers to take a short pause before completing their purchase. We always want our rescued pre-loved bears to go to homes where they’ll be treasured—and we want every customer to feel great about their decision to buy from.
We would never recommend spreading the cost of a bear, as this can lead to impulse buying and debt accumulation.
Bearing you in mind is what we do, too.
